The access to the labour market is an essential right, in addition to being one of the best ways to encourage the full socio-profesinal integration and independent lives of the people with Down syndrome and mental disabilities.
In order to achieve this objective, the Down Galicia Movement provides the necessary help through the methodology Supported Employment, through which a job coach trains the employees with Down syndrome and/or cognitive disabilities in their own place of employment, thus freeing the employer from this task.
